City of Refuge receives $2,100 through 3-Degree Guarantee

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Every degree made a difference. During the month of September, with the ANF 3-Degree Guarantee, each time Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Valdez and the Atlanta News First weather team got the forecast within three degrees, $50 was donated to a local nonprofit.City of Refuge is an Atlanta nonprofit helping individuals and families transition out of crisis.Thanks to our partner, Coolray Heating, Cooling, Plumbing Electrical, who matched each donation, the impact was doubled every time the forecast was spot on.
